The question as to whether the computer should teach the student or vice-versa is still debated within our contemporary society. The question this journal article poses is should mastery of the computer be considered education. The second comment that is made is whether computers will take over education jobs in the future. As a teacher, I feel balance is the key to both issues because if education becomes solely transmitted through one medium, some groups of people become excluded. I believe a balance of formal and informal learning is required for students to become well rounded and successful in their future endeavors.
